The Giv'n Rap

Earlier this week, in an email to our congregation,  Pastor Brad challenged Brad to rap the main points of his sermon. Very Dangerous.  That was the beginning of the Giv'n Rap.
(btw, in case you don't know, Jerry Nash is a Deacon that has faithfully counted the church's offering for years)

Chorus:
God’s money in my wallet
What if we really saw it
For what it truly is
None of mine and all of His.
What’s your checkbook say’n
You giv’n or you play’n
Work on your budget,
‘cuz Christ gonna judge it.

Verse 1:
So what ya gonna do with all of your booty
I heard what Bigney said…he takes it to the “Snooty…
…Fox” ‘cuz he rocks at the second-hand-shops
Saves dough when he goes to Kmart and Big Lots.

‘Cuz God be watch’n what you do wit yo cash pile,
Are ya blow’n it, or count’n it Jerry Nash style.
You can’t give but you worship’n yo visa
Come on people, and let the Bible teach ya.

 Verse 2:
(We look in His book, Malachi chapter 3…)
Where God say test me, come and invest in me.
Bring your whole tithe to the storehouse and then see,
The windows of heaven will be opened wide to receive,
Blessings pour’n down until there is no need.

It’s time to stand up for what you believe
We’re mak’n it easy for you at GFC
So don’t rob God, yo, listen to my plea,
Send it on ahead and set up “EFT”

Bridge:
Ask me…am I giv’n?
Are you giv’n?
yeah I’m giv’n!

Outro:
God’s money in my wallet
What if we really saw it
For what it truly is
None of mine and all of His.
