Oh-La-La

As a Christmas present, Brad took me downtown this past weekend for an overnight get-away. Here is our "heavenly suite" at the Westin.

Our room overlooked Fountain Square. They have their ice rink up during the winter, so it was fun to watch people skate/fall on the ice. I also took a picture at night, but without a tripod, this is the best I could do.

I'm sure you all appreciate my restraint in not posting the picture of us in the white terry-cloth robes...although that was a big hit too!

Competing with Isabel Nordine

A few weeks ago Candace posted a picture of Isabel eating her toes. Recently, I caught Sadie doing the same thing. I took a picture so we could prove that the Nordine's have nothing on the Spence's. Sadie may be a little thicker in the middle, but she's able to bend with the best of them!

Here's a picture of me enjoying my girls. Sometimes my days are too full of chores, parenting, and other responsibilities that I forget to stop and savor two great blessings in my life - my girls. This picture is a good reminder to get on the floor and 'love on them' (as my Southern friends would say).

Christmas Highlights

I enjoyed reading everyone else's Christmas posts, so I thought I'd better catch up on ours. We had 3 Christmases - one at home, one with Brad's family and one with Janelle's family.


Jesus arrived! Noelle's not quite awake, but they were both excited to find baby Jesus under our tree. Actually Sadie was more excited about the straw, but we can pretend!
